I created Explore Bound (formerly Exploranger) as a way to encourage others to get out there, experience the wonderful world camping has to offer, and enjoy the adventure along the way.

I grew up camping with family and once I got my license, it was only natural that my first car was a 4wd - a 1991 Nissan Terrano. That car showed me that where the bitumen stopped was where the adventure began, and jump-started my interest in tinkering and modifying (old cars really are the best to learn on!) I remember building a custom storage system in the back of that car with my Dad one weekend which I think is where my passion for DIY stems from and was the first building blocks to the things I build in my canopy nowadays (I'll pop some old photos below).

Wherever you are in the world, there are new places waiting to be explored and adventures waiting to be had - it's up to you to get out there!
